7 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and move

7 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and moved to Jupiter, FL- the first town I lived in when I came here.

Immediately upon arrival, I also leased a car by myself without a co-signer and opened an insurance account with USAA. I briefly took on an additional job as a live in nanny which would help me make ends meet to explore if I liked Florida living and if my relationship with Albert was worth it.

A lot has changed in the last 7 years. 6 months after this photo was taken, I moved to Delray Beach which brought its own adventures, then to Fort Lauderdale and finally to Miami.

7 years, 4+ new companies/entrepreneurial journeys and now a Tesla (that I *still* don’t drive) later, I sometimes forget to reflect on the road that led us to where we are now. It was a struggle at times, but worth the sacrifices.

Gods plan is bigger than our own even when we struggle to believe it. We need to remember that the God of the mountain is also the God of the valley. He’s with us through the highs and lows. His way is better than our way WHILE we do our part co-creating this life with Him. Have a great Wednesday.
