Booking a flight to the Middle East just 18 hours in advance might sound like a stressful experience, but when you’re flying Emirates, it’s anything but. Our recent journey flying Business Class from Miami to Dubai was a luxurious adventure from start to finish, redefining what it means to travel in comfort and style. I was truly BLOWN AWAY!

From the moment we arrived at Miami International Airport, it was clear that this was no ordinary flight experience. There was no line whatsoever. Everything was so seamless. Emirates’ attention to detail and their commitment to providing exceptional service was evident in every interaction. One of the first things we noticed was the sheer number of staff dedicated to ensuring such an experience. Unlike many other airlines, Emirates had more than enough staff to cater to every passenger’s needs promptly and efficiently.

If you know me, you know boarding a plane is my personal purgatory, regardless of what class I am flying in… However, as we boarded the aircraft, we experienced a unique touch that set the tone for the entire journey—First and Business Class board via a different jet bridge than Economy. This small detail immediately made us feel like VIPs, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to our experience and taking out a stress trigger for me.

Upon stepping onto the aircraft, we were greeted by two flight attendants who escorted us directly to our seats. They were incredibly friendly, and we struck up a conversation. They even mistook us as a young 20-something couple on their honeymoon, which led to a fun and lighthearted discussion about Liquid BioCell Collagen, which is one of my favorite things to talk about. They were genuinely interested in the product, which added a personal touch to the service.
Our journey began with a glass of Emirates’ house champagne, crafted specifically for the airline by Moët & Chandon. It was the perfect way to kick off the flight, adding a celebratory feel to the start of our adventure. As we settled into our lie-flat seats, we were provided with pillow-top mattresses, pajamas, and noise-canceling headphones—everything we needed to relax and enjoy the long flight ahead. They even gifted us a BVLGARI toiletry bag full of all the toiletries we could possibly need for the 14 hour non-stop flight from Miami to Dubai.

One of the standout aspects of the flight was how service-oriented the aircraft was. The crew handled our bags, storing them in the overhead bins for us, and they were always available to assist with anything we needed. It’s the most attentive service I’ve ever experienced on an aircraft, making the long-haul flight feel like a breeze.

Throughout the flight, we were treated to at least three to four meals, including local cuisine, each one delicious and beautifully presented – and many of you know how picky I am when it comes to food, specifically when traveling. They even had an organic cheese plate available with an incredible assortment of cheese. The crew even brought us chocolates from First Class, simply because they thought we were a cute couple—a gesture that truly made us feel special.

With all the comforts provided, we had plenty to do during the flight. I indulged in a few Marvel movies, caught up on some work, and even found time to read and journal and document the flight from start to finish on Instagram (saved to my highlights). The free Wi-Fi for Emirates loyalty account holders was a fantastic perk, allowing me to stay connected throughout the journey.
As we were preparing for sleep time, the flight attendants prepared our beds with pillowtop mattresses as the cabin’s ceiling lit up with stars like a Rolls Royce.

In summary, our experience flying Emirates Airlines from Miami to Dubai was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the luxurious amenities, every detail was designed to make the journey as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It truly made such a long flight pleasant, helping even with our jetlag experience. If you’re considering flying Emirates, I can’t recommend it highly enough—it’s an experience you will never forget.

Our Experience at the Emirates Business Class Lounge in Dubai Airport Flying Back West
After a long trip, we had the opportunity to experience the Emirates Business Class Lounge at Dubai Airport DXB. To say that the lounge was impressive would be an understatement—this space redefines what an airport lounge can offer. Occupying a vast portion of the upstairs section of the terminal, the lounge felt more like an upscale destination than just a waiting area.

One of the first things that struck us was the sheer size of the lounge. It’s humongous, stretching across an expansive section of the terminal. Navigating through it felt like exploring a well-designed, high-end retreat, and to make it easy, they even provided a full directory at the entrance. This directory showcased the array of offerings available inside—from multiple cuisine options to restrooms, showers, bathrooms, and even a champagne bar.

Speaking of food, the lounge catered to a diverse array of tastes with various cuisine stations. Whether you were in the mood for Middle Eastern delicacies, Asian-inspired dishes, or classic Western fare, there was something to satisfy every craving. The food was of exceptional quality, continuing the high standard of Emirates’ in-flight dining experience.
The lounge also catered to different lifestyle preferences. For those who needed a fresh start, there were showers and private restrooms, providing a perfect space to freshen up after a long flight. For those who prefer to relax with a cigarette, there was a dedicated smoking section, ensuring everyone could enjoy the lounge in comfort.
Overall, our time at the Emirates Business Class Lounge in Dubai Airport was a seamless extension of the incredible experience we had onboard. It’s not just a place to wait for your next flight; it’s a destination in itself, offering relaxation, high-end dining, and comfort. If you’re flying through Dubai, this lounge is an absolute must.
